About Fanfic Generator
Fanfic Generator is a free tool run by the team that makes Feldar, a writing app for novelists. It writes short, original fan fiction from your fandom, characters and idea, with no sign-up.
How it works
When you press Write my fic, your brief goes to a small program on Cloudflare's network. A safety model (Meta's Llama Guard 3) checks the request, then an open language model writes the fic and streams it back to you. Most fics are written by Moonshot AI's Kimi K2.6; when the tool is busy, Google's Gemma 4 takes over.
What we keep
We do not keep your brief or your fic. We keep a one-day count of requests per network address, stored as a one-way code, so one person cannot use up the free fics for everyone.
Limits
Up to 10 fics a day per person, about 600 or 1,200 words each, General or Teen rating, and an overall daily limit for the whole service.
Fan fiction and ownership
The characters in fan fiction belong to their creators. This tool is for personal, non-commercial fan writing. It is told not to copy text from the original works.
